LIGHT. THE LABYRINTH OF LIFE
Installation (polypropylene, LEDs)
2011

Labyrinths with one goal, many dead ends, and with only one way out, that is hard to find are extremely sad.
This is one of my first big projects. In 2011, I exhibited it in the M'ARS Center of Contemporary Art.
And also the work participated in 2014 at the exhibition "The Voice of Moscow" - The Cultural Foundation "Ekaterina", Moscow, Russia.
This is one of my first big projects. The idea is that we are all busy and it is difficult for us to stop and think, and analyze our actions. And a lot of parts of our lives remain in the shadows... And labyrinths with one goal, many dead ends, and with only one way out, that is hard to find are extremely sad. Loneliness and hopelessness in this maze, and nothing more.

And labyrinths with one goal, many dead ends, and with only one way out, that is hard to find are extremely sad. Loneliness and hopelessness in this maze, and nothing more.

And there is another labyrinth. It is volumetric and multiple and it is crossed with an endless number of other labyrinths. And they are all constantly changing and intersecting again and again. And it is a movable flexible structure. Any path of each labyrinth can intersect with any other.

And I will continue to reflect on this in future works...
